4. Committee Actions
4.01 Reviewing Facilitator RFP Responses & Next Steps
 
Chair Hightower recused herself from scoring & selecting a Community Facilitator RFP Response on the basis of partial conflict of interest. 
 
Motion by Commissioner Gamache, seconded by Commissioner Durfee to recess until 6:15pm for Committee members to score RFP Responses.
Final Resolution:  Motion Passes

Vice Chair Shireen Hart takes over the Commitee for discussion on the RFP responses.
 
The Committee discussed points of the various RFPs and the scoring points associated with each. 
 
Motion by Stephanie Seguino, seconded by Jabulani Gamache to remove RFP Proposal "C" from the selection based on the lowest score. 

Amended motion by Randall Harp, seconded by Kerin Durfee to remove RFP Proposal "C" and vote on selecting Proposal "A" or Proposal "B", subject to references.
Final Resolution:  Motion Passes

RFP Selection, Vote between RFP Proposal "A" and RFP Proposal "B" carried the following vote: 
Response "A": Gamache, Durfee
Response "B" : Hart, Seguino, Freeman, Harp, Grant.

Motion by Randall Harp, Seconded by Jabulani Gamache to adopt Proposal "B" as the Committee's selection for the Community Facilitator, contingent upon references.

CA Joy Hovestadt recommends once the references are checked, at the next meeting to make a motion for the City Attorney's office to draft a resolution to present to City Council for approval.  The resolution should detail why the Committee has selected Response "B" and outline who is authorized to execute the contract on the Committee's behalf. 
 
Kerin Durfee is tasked to follow up on references of the selected RFP Response.
